1. Wash your face: Always wash your face before using a facial cream. When you clean your face, you wash away makeup, sweat, dirt, debris, and dead skin cells that may have accumulated during the day or even while you were sleeping. This will allow the cream to better absorb into the skin.
2. After your gentle warm wash, gently pat your skin rather than rubbing it dry with a towel. Patting your face dry is gentler and better for delicate facial skin.
3. Apply to damp skin: Always apply face cream to warm and damp (not wet) skin. Creams are better able to lock in moisture when applied after a warm wash to moist skin.
4. Use a small amount: This rich cream is very concentrated. A little goes a very long way. Using more does not mean greater benefits. Your face should be able to absorb the cream and not feel sticky. Also, too much cream requires more rubbing time on delicate facial skin.
