How to Insert a Tampon:
- 1. Wash your hands, remove the outer wrapper, and pick a comfy position (can be sitting or standing!)
- 2. Get a feel for the area down there. There are three holes: your urethra, your anus, and your vagina. Your vagina where the tampon goes!
- 3. Place the tampon at the opening of your vagina and gently slide the applicator in towards the small of your back until your middle finger and thumb that are holding the grooved part of the applicator are touching your body.
- 4. Hold the outer tube firmly and use your index finger to push the inner tube completely into the outer tube. Withdraw both tubes, leaving the cord hanging outside your body.
- 5. The tampon opens axially to comfortably fit the true shape of your vagina.
