This beechwood and sisal fiber dish brush offers a durable, eco-friendly alternative to plastic brushes in the kitchen. It features a removable and replaceable head, allowing the handle to be reused for longer — reducing both waste and resource use.

Unlike traditional plastic dish brushes, which can shed microplastics during washing and over time in landfills, this brush is made entirely from natural materials. The sisal bristles, derived from the agave plant, and beechwood handle help you keep your dishes — and the planet — cleaner by preventing microplastics from entering your home and waterways.

The brush measures approximately 9 inches in length, making it ideal for cleaning glassware, bowls, dishes, and pans. It’s minimally fastened together with a metal wire and includes a metal loop for hanging to dry between uses.

Packaged minimally without plastic with a simple kraft paper tag attached with twine.

Beechwood Handle, Sisal Plant Fiber Bristles, Metal wire

To maintain the brush, hang to dry between uses, place it on a dry towel, or elevate it to allow the bristles to drain. Avoid leaving it submerged in water, as this can cause the wood to crack or loosen the bristles. Brush heads typically last around six months, while handles can last one to two years depending on use. If cleaning is needed, rinse the bristles with vinegar to remove bacteria. Over time, the wood will develop a natural patina from exposure to water and age—this is normal and not a sign of mold. When replacing the brush head, pinch the wires together near the base and slide the small circular metal piece down to release the old head. A pair of pliers may be helpful the first time. Insert the new brush head, then slide the metal piece back into place to secure it.
