  1. Dampen your hair. Key word: damp, not soaked. Take a shower, spend 20 minutes letting your hair dry, then get ready to spray.
  2. Comb out your hair.
  3. Give your bottle of sea salt spray a good shake.
  4. Spray your hair from root to tip in sections. Be careful not to overload your roots, and feel free to apply all the way down to your tips.
  5. Get to scrunchin’. Twist, crunch, scrunch, and otherwise play with your hair. Keep on going until you end up with the loose, beachy waves you’re going for.
  6. Dry your hair with a hair dryer on the cool setting, or by simply letting it air dry. Avoid rubbing with a towel, though it’s safe to lightly pat it dry.
Don’t be afraid to get a little creative with when and how you apply your spray. Try spritzing some on before you go to bed, then sleeping with your hair in braids or a bun. You can even spray a bit onto dry hair for a hint of controlled volume. Get in there and experiment!
