Our MADE SAFE® certified fitted Waterproof Mattress Protector is the ideal barrier to defend your bed — both safe and dependable. Two layers of GOTS-certified organic cotton sandwich a super-thin polyurethane waterproof film, providing breathable protection so you can sleep with ease and comfort.
Our Organic Waterproof Mattress Protector is GREENGUARD Gold certified for low emissions and Formaldehyde Free certified by UL Environment. That means the mattress protector is scientifically proven to meet some of the world's most rigorous third-party emissions standards for chemical exposure and pollutants, such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, and phthalates. The mattress protector is also MADE SAFE® Certified, so you can trust all the materials we use are free from ingredients linked to or suspected to cause harm to humans, animals, or ecosystems. Few mattress protectors meet this gold standard.
Our waterproofing technology is made from an ultra-thin polyurethane waterproof barrier. We don’t use vinyl, PVC, or phthalates, and it isn’t dense, noisy, or rubbery.
Our Waterproof Mattress Protector pairs with Avocado mattresses and is made with 95% organic cotton and just 5% polyurethane derived from natural cornstarch, which is within GOTS standards. Fine pores allow humidity to escape while the layer keeps liquid out. Plus, it protects against bacteria and dust mites.
Conventional cotton is a polluted crop. So we use organic cotton for the two absorptive layers sandwiching the waterproof barrier, as well as on the fitted elastic skirt. Best of all, organic cotton delivers a luxurious and soft finish, breathes easily, and wicks away moisture better than any synthetic.
The Standard Pocket accommodates all Avocado mattresses and fits mattresses 6–16" deep.

Please wash your Organic Waterproof Mattress Protector prior to use with an eco-conscious laundry detergent. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or hang on the line until completely dry.
*Please note: It may take up to 3 washes to get the protectors' actual size. The first wash should shrink the protector by 8%. We made them intentionally big since they are 100% cotton and will shrink.
