The thread count is the number of threads woven together in one square inch of fabric. These numbers are often inflated — most sheets are multi-ply, which means threads are layered and twisted to gain a higher count for marketing purposes, while compromising the sheet’s quality. Our Organic Cotton Crib Sheets are a true 400-thread-count single-ply made of extra-long staple organic cotton, so they are super fine and soft.
