BIBS Colour pacifier has been a favorite for both moms and babies for over forty years; the BIBS natural rubber baby pacifier allows your child to self-soothe by exercising their sucking instinct in the most natural way possible by mimicking both the shape and soft materials of the mother’s breast. This pacifier is recommended by midwives to support natural breastfeeding. Their classic appearance captures a timeless and elegant look—designed and manufactured in Denmark.

At BIBS we are deeply committed to ensuring that the materials we use in our products are both safe, of high quality, and do not harm the environment. The BIBS Pacifiers are 100% free from BPA, PVC, and phthalates.

Our pacifier nipples are made from 100% natural rubber latex. Natural rubber latex is a natural material made from the sticky milky fluid tapped from the Hevea tree. The fluid is refined to the brown/yellow rubber you know from your pacifiers; a super soft, elastic, and resilient material very much resembling the mother’s soft nipple. All BIBS pacifiers are certified to conform to the EU directive concerned with safety, health, and the environment. (Pacifier Safety requirements by European standard EN 1400+A2).

The natural material comes with a natural aging process affected by natural influences like UV light, air, saliva, and heat. The elasticity of the material allows the nipple to change shape and size because of the baby’s strong vacuum, this means that the nipple in some cases can expand if it is not replaced in time. For optimal safety and hygiene, replace the pacifiers every 4-6 weeks. If your child has teeth, please be aware of signs of damage or weakness in the material. Always inspect your pacifier before use and replace the pacifier at the first sign of damage or weakness. Do not put pacifiers in the dishwasher or sterilizer or leave them in direct sunlight. Do not freeze pacifiers.

The shield is made of 100% safe food-grade polypropylene.

The nipple is produced from natural rubber latex. Since natural rubber latex is a natural material, color variation may occur.

Regularly inspect your baby’s pacifiers and replace them every 4-6 weeks or at the first sign of damage or weakness. An enlarged nipple is a sign that it’s been in use for too long and should be replaced.

Cleaning:

  1. Put the pacifiers in a clean bowl. Pour boiling water over the pacifiers.
  2. Let the pacifiers soak for approx. 5 min.
  3. Pick them up and let them dry on a clean towel.
