Includes one (1) Nano Filter that has an average life of around 3 to 4 months. Filter life varies based on your average daily use and the quality of your municipal or well water. If your tap water is relatively heavily contaminated, your filter works harder to keep your water clean, which will decrease the life of the filter.

Light Use (Filling up once or twice a day): change filter every 4-6 months
Normal Use (Filling up twice or three times a day): change filter every 3-4 months
Heavy Use (Filling up more than three times a day): change filter every 2-3 months

First-Time Setup

  1. Rinse the pitcher and lid.
  2. Soak the new filter cartridge in cold water for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Run 2 full reservoirs of water through the filter and discard.
  4. Insert the cartridge into the reservoir, fill from the tap, and let it filter through.

Pouring

  • Let all the water filter from the top reservoir into the bottom of the pitcher before you pour.
  • Keep your hand on top of the lid while pouring so the lid does not slip if the pitcher has gotten wet.

Care & Replacement

  • Replace the cartridge every 100 gallons or about 3 to 4 months (reset the lid timer).
  • Hand wash the pitcher. Do not put in the dishwasher.

Good to know: Nano XP also reduces bacteria and cysts. Suitable for well water and travel.
