Adult maintenance (cups per day*): Up to 6lb = ½ cup 7-9lb = ½ to ⅔ cup 10-12lb = ⅔ to 1 cups 13 to 15lb = 1** cups
* Uses a standard 8oz measuring cup
** Plus ¼ cup for each 3lb of body weight over 15lb
