Handles, Tufts & Details:
Reinforced 10-inch handles are made from 97% Organic Cotton and 3% Elastane in two layers (450g and 334g). Tuft rosettes are made with certified organic wool sourced from the United States and attached to woven GOTS-Certified Organic Cotton tape. The mattress is hand-tufted with steel needles in up to 32 locations, depending on size, eliminating the need for glue.

Closing woven tape is made from GOTS-Certified Organic Cotton (450g) sourced from Canada. Recyclable aluminum bull-hook staples are used instead of glue to bind the interior perimeter to the latex. Green logo embroidery thread is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified.

Handle Warning:
Handles are intended only to help rotate the mattress. Do not use the handles to transport or carry the mattress.

Mattress Setup & Care:

Before You Begin:
This is Avocado's most complex mattress, featuring up to 17 layers and weighing up to 185 lb in the largest sizes. It ships flat via freight carrier rather than compressed in a box. In-Home Delivery & Setup is required and starts at $249, with pricing based on weight.

Delivery & Placement:
Because the mattress ships flat and setup is included, there is no unboxing or expansion process to manage. The delivery team will place the mattress directly on your bed frame, foundation, adjustable base, or platform bed.

Sheets:
Use deep-pocket sheets designed for mattresses 17 inches or deeper. Standard-depth sheets will not fit.

Rotation:
Rotate the mattress periodically to help minimize natural body impressions. In a plush mattress, impressions up to 2 inches deep may develop from consistently sleeping in the same position. This is considered normal wear rather than sagging or a defect.

Handle Warning:
Handles are intended for rotating the mattress only. Do not use the handles to move or carry the mattress.

Proper Support:
Place the mattress on a rigid, supportive surface capable of supporting the combined weight of the mattress and its users.

Care:
Spot clean only using a small amount of mild detergent and cold water. Do not soak the mattress or use harsh chemicals.
