We craft it in Los Angeles with domestic and imported materials, using up to 704 individually wrapped coils made in our own facility and imported GOLS-certified organic latex from our co-owned organic farms for responsive, contouring support. Imported GOTS-certified organic cotton and wool from certified farms add breathable, natural comfort. No chemical flame retardants, no fiberglass, no polyurethane foam, no waterproof coatings or chemical treatments. It's a fully GOTS-certified organic product (CU863637), OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class I certified, and meets EWG Verified® and MADE SAFE® standards. Independently evaluated by the Good Housekeeping Institute and awarded the Good Housekeeping Seal. Its hybrid design, organic latex over individually wrapped coils, supports the body evenly from head to toe, whether they're a small child or a teen. And it's built to last: it's tested to support at least 250 pounds, far beyond what most kids or teens need, so one mattress can carry them from a first big-kid bed through the teen years.

Low-Profile Design
The Eco Organic Kids Mattress is 7.5 inches tall. On bunk beds and trundles, a lower mattress keeps more of the guardrail exposed above the sleeping surface and leaves more headroom, which is why many bunk bed manufacturers recommend a mattress no taller than 8 inches. A lower profile also sits more stably in the frame. Always follow your bunk bed manufacturer's guidance on maximum mattress height and required guardrail clearance.

Mattress Setup & Care:

Before You Begin:
At 7.5 inches tall, this is Avocado's lowest-profile mattress and is designed for bunk beds, trundles, standard kids' beds, and Montessori floor beds. Before using with a bunk bed, check the bed manufacturer's maximum mattress height and guardrail clearance requirements.

Unboxing Instructions:
The mattress ships compressed and rolled in a box. Place it directly on the bed frame, unroll it, and allow it to expand. No assembly is required.

Support:
Tested to support at least 250 lb. The Twin XL size provides additional length for older or taller children and teens.

Waterproofing:
The mattress does not have a waterproof coating. Use a separate, washable organic mattress protector to help protect against spills and everyday wear.

Rotation & Care:
Spot clean only. This is a single-sided, non-flippable mattress. Use a mattress protector for ongoing protection rather than flipping the mattress.
