Haakaa's Easy-Squeezy Silicone Bulb Syringe is the simplest way to clear the little one's stuffy, snotty nose! It is made of super-soft, hypoallergenic food-grade silicone and sucks up stubborn boogers with a gentle squeeze, clearing baby's airways and helping them breathe easier.
The Easy-Squeezy Silicone Bulb Syringe features a two-piece design that's simple to use and clean, with no plastic bits to worry about – meaning it's resistant to the growth of bacteria and mold. Haakaa's bulb syringe is transparent to see how much mucus has been collected, plus it's super lightweight. It's portable and perfect for any snotty emergencies while you're out and about!
If mucus is dry or sticky, tip the baby’s head back and use a drop or two of saline or freshly expressed breast milk to soften it (one nostril at a time). Then, sit the child upright, as gravity will help draw fluid out. Gently squeeze the aspirator body to expel air, then place the tip snugly inside the baby’s nostril. Release the grip slowly to suction fluid.
If more suctioning is required, remove tip from the child’s nose and repeat the second step, taking care to avoid pushing contents out of the aspirator.
