Measures 9.25 inches long
Ordering takeout? Just say no to disposable chopsticks by having bambu® Chopsticks on hand instead. These USDA Certified Biobased, reusable versions of a classic are 9.25 inches long, naturally stain-resistant, glue- and lacquer-free, and they won’t scratch your pots and pans. A natural, food-grade oil finish gives them a smooth, silky surface that rinses easily and won’t splinter. Keep them at home, or take them with you.
Why should you reuse chopsticks?
Worldwide, around 80 billion pairs of chopsticks are tossed in the garbage each year. Many of these are wooden — in China alone, nearly four million trees annually become eating utensils.
Chopsticks are small, but billions of them are part of a bigger problem. Choosing bamboo rather than wooden chopsticks and reusing them as long as possible helps keep them out of the landfill.
How many times can you reuse bamboo chopsticks?
With proper care, you can reuse your bamboo chopsticks for as long as you can keep track of them!
Don’t soak your chopsticks — or anything made of bamboo — for a prolonged period of time. Rinse them right after you use them, and wash them with mild soap in warm water. Wipe them with a towel to soak up water, then let them air dry.
If they start looking worse for the wear, rub them down with Pure Sense’s food-grade Wood & Bamboo Conditioner and Protectant to restore them.
If the business ends of your chopsticks will be seeing a lot of spicy tuna roll action, make Sushi Night complete — and beautiful — with bambu Small Condiment Cups, perfect for soy sauce and wasabi.

Star Ingredients
How do you care for bamboo wood?
Bamboo is easy to care for. All you really need to do is keep it clean and dry, which requires nothing but water, mild detergent, and a towel.
Never put anything made of bamboo in your dishwasher. If bamboo needs cleaning, wash it by hand in warm water — never hot. Use a mild, natural dishwashing liquid, and rinse it well. Use a towel to remove standing water, and let the bamboo air dry thoroughly.
How to remove mold and mildew from bamboo
Mold and mildew spots are easy to remove from bamboo. Rub the spot with half a lemon or a 1:1 vinegar:water solution. Use a soft brush or microfiber cloth to scrub it away, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
