Native to the shadier regions of India and Sri Lanka, cardamom has the gentle, airy taste of the forest itself — reminiscent of ginger with a pinch of pine. Cinnamon, derived from the bark of a small evergreen, brings a spicy depth and a fresh perspective.

Steeping herbal tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Then pour 6 oz of water over the tea bag and steep for 5-7 minutes. Serve hot or let cool and pour over ice.
