Enzymes! Dirty Labs combined advanced enzymes and innovative, bio-based ingredients to create a new cleaning technology that has all the power of conventional laundry detergents without any of the bad stuff.

How do enzymes help wash clothes?

Five classes of enzymes are commonly added to both conventional and natural laundry detergents because of their ability to break up tough stains like mud, blood, coffee, and tomato sauce. Dirty Labs scienced together this detergent to precisely target and remove all kinds of stains and odors from a wide range of fabrics.

Bio-based and a brute on stains

Yes, Dirty Labs Bio Laundry Detergent with Phytolase® is septic-safe, and extra-gentle on sensitive skin and delicate clothes — but it’s no snowflake! It cleans as well as the leading conventional laundry detergents, and it outperforms them all when it comes to removing stubborn stains.

It isn’t just the detergent itself that makes Dirty Labs Bio Laundry Detergent with Phytolase® a good alternative to toxic laundry products. Here’s what else makes this detergent a better choice for the environment:

  • Hyper-concentrated formula — each bottle cleans 32 standard loads
  • Compatible with both traditional and HE washing machines
  • Bottle is made of recycled aluminum — please recycle when it’s empty!
  • Reusable beaker is made from food-grade silicone

Are you a bit skeptical that natural versions of your laundry staples are effective? Well, here’s what one Grove writer learned when she swapped out chlorine bleach with non-chlorine bleach, put baking soda to the test as a stain remover and detergent booster, and deep-cleaned dirty duds with a DIY borax laundry-stripping.

Dirty Labs uses biobased raw materials that are responsibly sourced from nature or created through a biorenewable fermentation process called biosynthesis. Any palm oils used are RSPO certified. The formula is 97% USDA Biobased certified. The ingredients are free of all CA Prop 65 Chemicals of Concern and EU-listed fragrance allergens.
