Mattress Setup & Care:

Before You Begin:
This is Avocado's heaviest and highest-profile mattress, weighing up to 181 lb and measuring 15.5 inches tall. It is constructed with 6 inches of natural latex plus silk, mohair, and wool. Two people are recommended for setup for all mattress sizes.

Delivery & Placement:
The mattress ships flat via Doorstep Delivery rather than compressed and rolled, so there is no unboxing or expansion period. Optional In-Home Delivery & Setup is available within the continental U.S. Place the mattress directly on your bed frame, foundation, adjustable base, or platform bed.

Sheets:
Use deep-pocket sheets designed for mattresses 17 inches or deeper. Standard-depth sheets will not fit.

Proper Support:
Place the mattress on a rigid, supportive surface capable of supporting the combined weight of the mattress and its users. For third-party frames, slats must be no more than 5 inches apart and at least 2.5 inches wide.

Rotation:
Rotate the mattress from head to foot every 3–6 months to promote even wear. The head and foot zones are identical by design, so regular rotation can help extend the life of the comfort layers.

Care:
Spot clean only using a small amount of mild detergent and cold water. Do not soak the mattress or use harsh chemicals. Use a mattress protector to help protect against spills and everyday wear.
