Concentrated Summer Rain™ organic Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) rinse is infused with certified organic herbs and organic essential oils which are great for the hair and scalp.
ACV is a good clarifying hair rinse since it helps to remove product buildup on the hair and scalp. Buildup can clog the follicles, leading to scalp conditions such as dandruff, and possibly hair loss.
Since a lightweight apple cider vinegar rinse does not weigh hair down like other conditioners, it can help with volume and curl definition.
Dilute: Never use undiluted vinegar. Mix 1/2–2 tbsp (7.4–30 ml) of raw, organic ACV (shake to mix "mother") with 8 oz (237 ml) warm water. Adjust based on hair type (less ACV for dry scalp, more for oily).
Apply: Pour or spray onto wet hair after shampooing, avoiding eyes. Massage into hair and scalp, focusing on ends. Let sit for 1–2 minutes.
Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with cool water to seal cuticle (optional: leave some ACV for conditioning, if suitable for your hair). Towel dry. Vinegar scent fades as hair dries.
Tips: Double for long/thick hair; halve for short/thin hair. Use a squeeze/spray bottle for efficiency (one mix lasts 3–4 rinses for long, fine hair). Premixed solution lasts ~1 week without refrigeration.
Note: Experiment to find your ideal dilution. Start with 1/2 tbsp ACV per 8 oz water.
