What are the best uses for bambu Small Condiment Cups?

They may be built for condiments, but these tiny bowls are handy for other things, too! Grove member Bonnie F. uses them to count out her pills — “The curved inside allows them to pour out easily without dropping pills under the bed every other day.”

Grove staff member Andrew M. uses them to prep his spices for cooking — “The shape keeps the bowls stable too, with little chance of rocking or tipping.”

Love sushi? These bowls are perfect for your soy sauce and wasabi! Pair them with bambu’s bamboo chopsticks, and you’ve got a set you can pull out to celebrate the small things in style.

How do you care for bamboo dishes and cups?

Your bambu condiment cups will last a long time if you care for them properly.

To prevent food from drying and sticking to your bamboo, rinse or wash it right after you use it. Scrape off stubborn food with your fingernail or a dish scraper. Wash it in warm water with mild dish soap. Pat it dry, and stand it up in the dish drainer to fully air dry before you put it away.

More tips include:

  • Rinse your condiment cups right after you use them so food doesn’t stick.
  • Scrape off stubborn bits with your fingernail or a non-scratch pan scraper.
  • Never let any bamboo item soak in liquid for an extended period of time.
  • If your bamboo starts looking like it needs a facelift, give it one with Pure Sense’s food-grade Wood and Bamboo Conditioner & Protectant.
