How do you care for bamboo wood?

Bamboo is easy to care for. All you really need to do is keep it clean and dry, which requires nothing but water, mild detergent, and a towel.

Never put anything made of bamboo in your dishwasher. If bamboo needs cleaning, wash it by hand in warm water — never hot. Use a mild, natural dishwashing liquid, and rinse it well. Use a towel to remove standing water, and let the bamboo air dry thoroughly.

How to remove mold and mildew from bamboo

Mold and mildew spots are easy to remove from bamboo. Rub the spot with half a lemon or a 1:1 vinegar:water solution. Use a soft brush or microfiber cloth to scrub it away, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
