Peach Hair Care

I have very thick, very straight, very oily hair. I actually prefer more gentle shampoos because the less I strip my hair of oil the more days I can go between washing (a harsh shampoo means I’m oily by the end of the day, a gentle one I might get 2 or 3 days). This shampoo is definitely gentle, you have to spend more time on your roots than with a liquid shampoo. I soak my hair first, then gently rub the bar itself on my head until I get the suds I want, going in tiny sections where my hair is most oily and then I add a bit of water and suds it all together. My hair ends up totally clean, so for the reviewers that it doesn’t work for I think it may be about time spent working on the lather. That can totally be a deal breaker though if you don’t want to stand there rubbing a bar on your head for 3 minutes. Also, the more I use it, the more quickly it suds (moisture content in the bar from being in my shower I suppose). The conditioner also works for me BUT it’s pretty light. I’m really pleased with this since my hair is straight and heavy, if I use too much conditioner I look like a wet dog until the next time I wash my hair. This gives me just enough slip to gently detangle in the shower. If you’ve ever gone on a “no poo” adventure and dealt with weird alternative shampoos I think this would be an easy switch. If not, or if you just like a strong clarifying wash (and maybe use other products in your hair), you might want to pass on this gentle set.

I’ve tried several different types of bar shampoo/conditioner and the shampoos always leave my hair dried out and the conditioners are never moisturizing enough. These both work great for my hair and smell nice! My hair is so soft afterward. Highly recommend!

I have long, thick hair and was concerned that bars would be too difficult to lather, however, I was pleasantly surprised! They take a bit longer to lather than traditional liquid but not by much. This is a wonderful solution to stop unnecessary single use plastic consumption. The box is delightfully designed. It’s satisfying to open them and know the waste is minimal. The shampoo smells lovely it has a light scent that is definitely enjoyable. The shampoo is easy to use. I lathered in my hands as I am afraid of breakage. One problem I encountered which I am sure you will come up with a solution for is storage. Where do you put all the bars of shampoo, conditioner, and soap that drains well!!! I had to get creative. I would appreciate a storage solution that could hang and keep the soaps from away from excessive moisture. The shampoo left my hair feeling very clean. My hair is super happy and my curls are super bouncy. Again people have been complimentary about my hair this past few weeks. It’s a great shampoo. I am so glad this conditioner bar does not make my hair feel oily a day or two after washing it. It adds some moisture into my hair and scalp without overdoing it. It also smells fantastic! I just received the Peach Volumizing Shampoo bar a few days ago. The very first time I used it I was DELIGHTED! It lathers up beautifully with only a few swipes of the bar on the crown of your head, the fragrance is just lovely and it DOES volumize your hair! I immediately ordered another bar! I don’t want to be without it!

I was super skeptical that a bar of conditioner could work this well. Like some others, I have tried many clean conditioners and nothing really stood out. That was until this peach bar! It is really amazing. It takes a while to get used to how to best use it, but when you have it down, it really is amazing. My hair felt sleek, silky and moisturized. There is no residue or greasiness, just sheer moisture. I love it! I will definitely be buying it again. I love that there is no plastic bottle to waste and just the ingredients you need. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a great moisturizing conditioner.

What a beautiful soap dish, I am so in love. I actually think the price on this is amazing too because it is so nice and heavy. I can tell it is quality and will last me forever. The little padded feet on the bottom have done a great job of keeping it from sliding around in my shower and the 2 drainage holes have been enough to keep my soap from becoming slimy. Because it is marble it is smooth and easy to clean. If you are like me and prefer bar soaps, this soap dish will look so lovely next to your sink.
