"I bought this shampoo b/c I have a cat who goes outdoors and has unfortunately had a run in with a skunk before. However, I used it on one of my other cats who we discovered had fleas and we couldn’t find any other soap that was “cat safe” (btw, a lot of natural flea and tick treatments for pets have essential oils which are especially toxic to cats) she did not enjoy the bath but right after we dried her off her coat was softer and she did not itch for a long time!!! I repeat the washing every so often if I see evidence of fleas and and vacuum my house but it works beautifully and is non-toxic!!! Her coat smelled wonderful too so I’m sure it will work for skunk odor too, hopefully I won’t need it for that though!!!!" — Melissa H.
