Reusable Food Storage

"I absolutely LOVE these bags! I have purchased several sets, even given them as gifts. I have been using my first set for probably close to a year and they still work great! I have been prepping raw veggies each week for quite a while now. I prepare 2 bunches of celery and a 2 pound bag of carrots each week, cutting them in convenient size pieces. I put all of them in the large bag with a little bit of water to keep them from drying out, there is plenty of room left over in the bag. Depending on the freshness of the produce (I have learned this the hard way). these bags will keep food fresh for a week and often longer! They are amazing! The water doesn't spill out because the bag stands up and it doesn't leak out due to the strong seal on the bags! They are hand wash only and you have to make sure that you dry them completely or they will stick together." — Patricia R.

"I initially got these bags as part of a limited edition cherry blossom set. I immediately ordered more. I've got those, a copper design (a limited edition), cactus, & the lemons. I don't use these for food. I use them for travel & "daily carry". They're a great size for my travel backpack & reliably hold all kinds of stuff from underwear to toiletries. Great for an airplane "seat kit" - keeps you from dragging your bag out for little things like chapstick, earbuds, tissues, wipes, phone, etc. Also nicer to have TSA just palpate the bag with my underwear or bras than to have them handle those items. I put my purse items in one for a boat excursion on a very choppy day. My daypack was soaked through but my phone, keys, & wallet stayed dry! I wouldn't trust them submerged but for splash/rain they work great. I've not had to wash these other than to wipe off the outside, since I only put clean items in them, so I can't speak to that. "I learned the hard way tonight not to ever use this (or any parchment paper) in the oven on broil because it will catch on fire, all the fire alarms will go off, and that's when you find out whether or not your neighbors would come to the rescue - I need to befriend my neighbors since no one came running to check on us LOL. I know I should stay by the oven when something is on broil but I just have a problem with standing still when I could be getting something else done. Nothing on the label says to not use it on broil so just wanted to put this out there for others. "I have used this bottle daily for a few weeks now. Of course, since it's glass, you need to use it carefully. The silicone protects but is glass and will break. The glass is pretty thick. Overall, it's a darn near perfect for me water bottle. If I had to change anything would be to make the opening a little bigger so my bottle brush could fit. I enjoy my water at room temperature so I don't know how this is at keeping drinks cold. I definitely recommend this beauty!" — Barbara C H.

"These work surprisingly well! At first, I didn't think they worked at all; I tried to cover a few bowls, and the wrap didn't hold on to the bowl at all. I did a little research via YouTube, and found out you have to CRUMPLE the wrap first. This sufficiently warms up the wrap, and activates its sticking power. Now these wrap around my bowls like champs! Because these wraps can't touch meat or fish, I still use plastic wrap for some things, but far, far less than I used to. The packaging says that, if treated well (washed by hand with cold water only), the wraps should be effective for at least a year. I hope they hold out longer than that. For now, I am happy that I'm no longer using plastic wrap for single-use tasks (such as covering bowls for a few hours after I've prepped ingredients).
